“ Bun Cha Ta was the first meal we had in Vietnam and it was divine! The bun cha set comes with noodles, braised pork and broth, greens and spring roll - really hearty! And simply delicious! Also tried the egg coffee which was yum, and passion fruit juice which was on the sweeter side. Very nice staff too. We sat downstairs, but they have ample seating upstairs - thought it looked a bit dark. Overall would totally recommend! ”
“ Loved this restaurant would come here again this trip if I didn’t want to try all the other delicious places in the city. Bun cha ta was a cozy restaurant with many stories of little rooms to eat in. The homemade drinks specifically the pineapple and passion fruit one were delicious. The meals came quickly and the staff were lovely. The spring rolls that came with the meal were sooooo good and crispy. The broth and charred meats were delicious and we got an enourmous pile of bun (rice noodles) and greenery and fresh chilli and fresh garlic to add to the broth. Amazing dining experience and loved this food so much. Great introduction for me to bun Cha which I had never tried before. 5 stars!! ”
“ It’s probably the best Bun Cha in Hanoi, what makes it good is the different cuts of pork that go into the bowl. The sauce is on point as well. I’d give the spring rolls a miss, nothing special there and the egg coffee was pretty average too. Stick to the Bun Cha! ”
“ When I entered there was a smell of vomit, but I ignored this as the reviews were positive. Lesson: Always listen to your body. Service: - Not overly friendly - The service was extremely fast. - From placing the order, my food was delivered within 5 mins. - Rating: 3/5 (Not welcoming or friendly) Atmosphere: - No background music - No vibe whatsoever - The seating is very different to what I’ve previously experienced. - You have to remove your footwear before entering the dining area. - Rating: 3/5 Food: - 1 x Bun Cha with Rice Noodles - This is different to what I’ve tasted in Da Nang, but it still tasted good. - Price: 80K - Rating: 4/5 Drink: - 1 x Bia HA NOI: - Unfortunately, it was served warm, so I had to ask for some ice. - Price: 30K - Rating:3/5 Overall Rating: 3/5 ”
“ We really enjoyed the original bun cha with also some amazing spring rolls. Cozy ambiance. Was truly amazing seeing so many Vietnamese people having lunch in this place… it means the food and flavors are original. Very well deserved the mention in the Michelin Guide. ”
“ This amazing place serves great Bun Cha, and it was the first time I was even tasting this cuisine, and it blew my mind. Bun Cha Ta Hanoi introduced a newcomer to the dish in all the right ways. The meats were grilled with the perfect tenderness, sweetness and savory taste, the gravy/soup was so delicious and when dipped with the vermicelli it just soaks up all the amazing flavor and just balances out so well. One must-have in my personal opinion is the...Vietnamese Rice Wine Whisky! Get another can of their local beer eg. Saigon Beer and its the perfect drink to go along with your perfect lunch. If its dinner, please do yourself a favor and don't stop at one. Ngon! ”
“ Wow. Best meal I had in Vietnam. Dreaming about this. Such a unique environment too— we sat on the second floor. I got the #5 and it was all gluten free! Passion fruit juice was also incredible, and my husband tried the Vietnamese egg hot chocolate and LOVED it— it’s like a super fluffy drink. ”
